British singer/songwriter Ella Janes opens 2017 with the launch of BURNED OUT – a foray into her latest preoccupations with time+space which combines her strong folk foundation with celestial-pop mutations. Having played in her former trad-folk configuration at the Isle of Wight Festival 2015, as a Ronnie Scott’s resident, and a support to Simple Minds, she retains her ethereal ambient presence and lyrical sophistication as it melds within a delicious blanket of synth-based sound. Her performances are a series of her own original songs inspired also by themes coming out of technological, philosophical and scientific perspectives.
