Nasma is graduate in chemical engineering from the National Polytechnic School of Algiers. She is the founder of SmellNat, Algerian start up that was recognized at the GIST (Global Innovation through Science and Technology funded by the U.S. Department of State) Startup Bootcamp Algeria taking the “Top Entrepreneur” award.
Her research sparked her interest in developing a green energy solution to extract and process essential oils from Algeria’s existing natural resources. She is part of the SmellNat team of five young Algerian women, passionate about science, innovation and enterpreunership, that are an example of possibility for the scientific Arab world.

Nasma è laureate in ingegneria chimica press oil Politecnico Nazionale di Algeri. E’ la fondatrice di SmellNat, una startup algerina che è ha ottenuto il prestigioso riconoscimento come “Top Entrepreneur” all’interno del progetto Startup Bootcamp Algeria del GIST (Global Innovation through Science and Technology finanziato dal Dipartimento di Stato degli USA).
La sua ricerca riflette il suo interesse a sviluppare una soluzione a basso impatto energetico epr estrarre e processare oli essenziali dalle risorse naturali esistenti in Algeria.
Fa parte del team di 5 donne algerine che compongono SmellNat, tutte appassionate di scienza, innovazione e imprenditorialità, che costituiscono un esempio di opportunità per il mondo scientifico Arabo.
