Bandão, an overwhelming vibration created by the rhythm of 50 drums. It is the largest and most long-lived percussion orchestra in Italy, unique in its kind both for the originality of its rhythms and the involvement of the audience. Directed by Francesco Petreni, the Bandão sound wave has been on the Italian and international musical scenes for 25 years. To its credit there are studio albums, TV shows, prestigious musical collaborations and over 500 concerts, including both onstage performances and street shows.The band has taken part in some of the most famous carnivals including Viareggio, London, Venice and Rio De Janeiro and has been repeatedly invited as a Special Guest at events such as the Labour Day concert in Rome, the Italian Jazz concert in L’Aquila and the Rockin’1000 event in Florence.
