Maurizio Ferraris is one of the most original and interesting philosophers of our time. Appreciated all over the world, he is ordinary professor of theoretical philosophy at the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy at the University of Turin and president of the Ontology Laboratory.
Founder of ‘New Realism’, he directs Scienza Nuova, the institute of advanced studies that unites the University and the Polytechnic University of Turin dedicated to the design of a sustainable future.
He is a visiting professor at Harvard, Oxford, Munich, and Paris, a columnist for “la Repubblica”, the “Neue Zürcher Zeitung” and “Libération”, and the author of successful television programs and over sixty books translated into numerous languages.
