Luigi Zoja is a world-renowned psychoanalyst and essayist, one of the leading exponents and popularizers of Jung’s theory.
After his training at the C.G. Jung Institut of Zurich, from 1984 to 1993 he was president of the CIPA (Italian Center for Analytical Psychology) and from 1998 to 2001 president of the IAAP (International Association for Analytical Psychology).
Today he is a lecturer at the C.G. Jung Institut of Zurich, Visiting Professor at Beijing Normal University and the University of Insubria.
He has written and published essays and articles in over fifteen languages, paying particular attention to the investigation of problematic behaviors in contemporary society, reread using the perspective of myths, literary tradition and archetypal themes. His latest studies focus on the decline of desire and its effects in our time.
