Pianist & Composer

Luigi Nicolini, who graduated in Piano and Composition with Piano specialization in Paris, has played over the years in major European centres, both as a soloist and with orchestra.

His performances in Rai radio and television programmes are famous, including his participation as pianist and composer in the tv show “Domenica in” on Rai Uno, in the 2004/2005 and 2008/2009 editions.

Today, Luigi is a composer of melodic, sacred, symphonic and operatic music. He is also the author of works such as the instrumentation manual “I Colori dell’Orchestra” (The Colours of the Orchestra), several books of humorous short stories, the novel “Tra sogno e realtà” (Between Dream and Reality) and the humorous-satirical stories “Note… stonate!”.

With numerous relevant international collaborations behind him, he recently released the CD “Momento” (2019), where he arranges and interprets famous film soundtracks and his own songs on the piano, accompanied by the orchestra. In 2021 he released an album of background music entitled “Time lapse”, composed with Alessandro La Vela and followed in 2022 with the second album “Passion”.
