Born in the south of France, after studying in Toulouse and Milan, he discussed his PhD in humanities in Paris. He wrote his post-graduate thesis hosted at the library of the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) in Rome, one of the main Italian non-profit organizations for international studies. Today he is deputy director of the IAI security and defense program and coordinator of the “France-Italy Strategic Forum”. He teaches at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis and is a columnist for the daily Il Foglio.
