Alex Jaimes is an expert in AI. In his career he has created products used by millions of people at companies such as Yahoo, IBM, Fuji Xerox, Siemens, AT&T Bell Labs, and DigitalOcean. He is Chief Scientific Officer and Artificial Intelligence SVP at Dataminr, Visiting Professor at Cornell Tech, and a pioneer in Human-Centered AI (Computing). He is a mentor at Endeavor and Techstars and an advisory board member of Digital Divide Data, a nonprofit organization that creates sustainable technology opportunities for disadvantaged youth, their families and communities in Asia and Africa. He has been involved as an expert in the Colombian government’s “Artificial Intelligence Expert Mission.”
