Researcher at the University “La Sapienza” in Rome on networking and environmental monitoring. In 2002 he founded the WLAB and is currently coordinating the PLEASED European project, developing a technology to use plants as bio-sensors. In 2012 he founded WSENSE, a spin-off of the Sapienza focalized on monitoring technologies. A DIY (Do-It-Yourself) lover but even and perhaps even more a DIT (Do-It-Together) one. We can dream a new future and the technology can be the device to have a new perspective to build it, but the unique possibility to reach success is the cooperation with different kind of experts in different fields in a stimulating environment : with the feet on the ground and the head into the clouds.
